(During a peace forum at Mindanao State University – Iligan Institute of Technology on 26 November 2009)
Question: Being an actor, living in Manila, gaano kalalim ang naintindihan ninyo sa conflict dito sa Mindanao?

GENERAL SANTOS CITY – As soon as the congregational prayer was completed during the Eid al-Fitr celebration at the Mindanao State University’s high school campus here last Sunday, children rushed to a nearby covered court where Christian youth volunteers were waiting to serve them food and drinks.
Their parents tried to follow suit but were slowed down as they were greeted by their Christian brothers and sisters with handshakes, hugs, smiles and words of best wishes. Taking of photos with friends, relatives and Christians well-wishers were all over the place.
